What does welded tabs mean?

Just wondering what the welded tabs yes or no line is? What are welded tabs?

Welded tabs are attached to the back of the product so that we don't have to put a hole in the piece for hanging. Functionally there is no difference, it's a cosmetic upgrade. Please keep in mind if you choose welded tabs and a clear coated sign, there will be 2 small marks on the front of the sign due to the heat from welding. We think this looks rustic and awesome, but some customers do not. For a more detailed explanation, check out our FAQ and watch the video.
